I’ve been a PDR tech for 33 years and have owned my own company that entire time. I’m rarely surprised by customer service in this industry—but Black Plague PDR absolutely exceeded my expectations.
I ordered a set of tension straps for a large repair I had scheduled a little over a week out and paid extra for 2-day shipping to make sure I had the tools in time. A couple of days later, I received a shipping confirmation showing the straps wouldn’t arrive until after my scheduled repair date. Stress level immediately went through the roof, as I truly needed these straps for the job.
I called the number on their website and left a message explaining the situation. To my surprise, Black Plague didn’t hesitate—they immediately overnighted another set of straps at no additional cost, and they even refunded the extra shipping I had paid on the original order. That kind of response is rare, and frankly, impressive.
As for the straps themselves—they worked perfectly. They cleaned up far easier than straps I’ve used in the past, and unlike a previous set from another brand that tore during a repair, these held up exactly as they should.
I’m blown away by how Black Plague handled this from start to finish. They earned my trust, and they’ve earned my business. From now on, Black Plague PDR will be my first stop for PDR tools.
